Brussels Airport Airplane Playground Rendering

Bespoke wooden playground structure in the shape of an aircraft, designed for high-traffic public spaces. This project successfully won the official public tender for installation at the Brussels Airport plane-spotting deck. Developed using a hybrid pipeline of hand sketches, AI-assisted concept optimization, and precise solid-body engineering in Autodesk Fusion 360. Fully compliant with European safety standards (EN 1176).

03. EN 1176 Compliance & Safety Integration

The structure was fully engineered to comply with EN 1176 standards. All potential entrapment hazards (head, neck, and fingers) were systematically eliminated during the 3D modeling stage, and critical fall heights (CFH) were strictly mapped to specify appropriate impact-attenuating surfacing.
